About Clear Lake High School

First established in 1901, Clear Lake High School was located at its present site in 1965 in Lakeport, California, and is a part of the Lakeport Unified School District. Clear Lake High School is the only comprehensive high school in the district, which includes one elementary school (grades K-3), one middle school (grades 4-8), one community day school (grades 6-9), one continuation high school, and one alternative school (home school/independent study). The school campuses are adjacent to one another. Lakeport is the county seat of Lake County that is approximately 100 miles northeast of San Francisco and characterized by mountainous terrain. Its major topographical feature is Clear Lake-- the state's largest natural freshwater lake.
